because his cover art is pretty tame for the most part...

Maybe, but that's an interesting point.  I was unable to post the image of the artwork itself, hence the link.  I get the feeling that there is an archive of red-flagged content that certain douche-bags armed with big red buttons (ducks for cover, phew) subscribe to and mercilessly prevent from being disseminated.

 

Shame, because in my view the image was art, not porn.

 

Probably a little silly of me to try anyhoo  The thread title is asking for trouble, but you'd think it should keep the wowsers away.

Just want to let you guys know that, yes, a couple of posts were deleted as they linked to a picture that's inappropriate for this forum.  We have people of a great varieties of ages and cultures on Head-fi and thus while personally we might not care about the content, it's not appropriate to post anything that is potentially not safe for work nor would be seen on say, early evening TV.  That goes for swearing too, sorry.  That does make this thread a little risky I admit.

 

Someone beat me to posting about the Mayhem cover.  What was worse is that they re-arranged the scene before taking photos, and even before calling the police to report the incident. The whole Black Metal scene I reckon is pretty screwed up in that regard, even now.

I'm sure if that was sold, most people would think it was fake. It's weird how we have been so desensitized to a point that real pictures look fake.
