List of bugs and suggestions for the new "Classified" section. - Page 3

I've had two different potential buyers from two different ads PM me for pictures when they seem to be attached to the classified.  Not sure if this is a bug in the system or just oversight by me or them.

Sorry if this has been asked, I searched but didn't see.  Is there any hope that the new FS Forum will keep track of sale prices?  Seems it's setup for it.  My intent is not to stir the hornet's nest; but since ads can now be "closed" it should alleviate the problem of people not noticing that an item has sold.

If someone seconds this, can we add it to the feature request list?

Just discovered this one: Can't leave a reply to a post after trying (and failing) to send a PM. The system throws a "Please enter something before you submit your post" error message.

Is there going to be a seller-enabled "make offer" option like on Audiogon?

can't close listing, can't edit listing

leeperry: I wouldn't worry about it, but indeed, the square images do look odd.

got it fixed............ seems it was user error, did not see the close setting off on the right.

Identified Bugs:

1. When editing details for a second time, the previously saved details show up (aka. Not most recent save)
2. When editing the thread with the "Edit" button, the results are not mirrored in the "Edit Details" field.
3. Clicking "Close Listing" doesn't actually close or remove the listing.
4. Edits to descriptions are not mirrored in list of listings
5. Classified listing are doubled in your "Show off stuff in your signature" list. 
6. PM button in classified ad does not work.
7. Missing "Create new thread" button in Headphones section. Fixed on 8/10/10
8. RSS Feed doesn't work.

 

Is anyone still experiencing issues with numbers 3, 5, and 6?

I am attempting to re-create these issues, but I have not been able to today.

Hero Kid, thanks for the clarification.  I was able to duplicate the issue.

+1 for switching back to sorting by update date by default. Bumps meant views meant sales.

Agreed. Almost all FS forums work this way and it is much more practical than sifting through.

Interesting. I changed the title of one of my FS listings and the change has not been reflected in my signature link three days later. Just went back to check if it got duplicated as I'd actually prefer that to not being able to make changes to the title of my listing at all.
