Anyone gonna pick it up?  I love Dylan's earlier stuff and if it's anything like the Beatles Mono Box Set, it will sound better in mono

I'll probably pick it up for my brother who is a huge Dylan fan. I have most of these albums on LP in mono and stereo. I just hope they didn't fiddle with the masters that much.

Review and good insight here, I will pick up the pre-order witmark demos, amazon is including a free newly discovered live recording for those that get the pre-order.

Thanks for the link, it's great to hear that the producers used the original mono master tapes.  I think I'm gonna go ahead with the preorder

Thanks to Sundazed Records the first 8 or so Bob Dylan LPs have been remastered in mono for some time now.

Looking forward to both the mono box and the Witmarks.  The monos are fresh mixes and should sound different to the Sundazed releases (most of which I've got and some of which are a bit disappointing), and the Witmarks should be better sound quality than the long-circulating bootleg versions.
