I would imagine the Amphora fed a signal by your 801 would be heavenly.

Bigger's  amps for home use is very good , i know that sir.

when i live in my own house i think i would love to buy a huge amp LOL.

so far i want a samller amp . coz i can take it with me when i in outside.

HOW is your NuForce USB - uDAC Kboe?

BTW i returned my HIFIMAN801. coz i really dont like that kind of player.

Short play time, huge body. not good at choose songs. and it was so weak. the 801 can't make good sounds by itself.

it also need a amp for more power.  It was so hard to think a 801 player with a Amp  toghter, they were a damn huge stuffs.

u can use those money (801 pirce around 7xx) to buy a RWA imod and a Amp .

Well for home use you would have to use an 1/4 inch adapter for the plug for your new 8s if you wanted to use the uDAC.  Plus the uDAC only runs of the 5v supplied by your USB jack.  So it in and of it self is not really a portable amp, but a transportable one.  If you want a truly portable slice of audio heaven, I would go with the iMod - ALO LOD of your choice, and then the Rx Mk II.  Get Ken to make you a high quality 1/4 inch adapter and your good to go.  The sound would be heavenly alright!

Opps!   Does your 8s have a 1/4 jack or the smaller 1/8th jack?
