No really i couldn t believe it but you know maybe i got a broken pair or something, i mean they sounded great in the store but those i actually bought sounded like shit, it is not that the bass was too loud, but everything else was so low, really i would have needed subtitle to correctly understant the people speaking in the movie. After that i changed it for the bose quiet confort 15 and the sound was much better while not great but much better. But i changed them too because after 10 minutes using i got sick from the noise cancelling in it. I didn t have that problem with the Beat It was my first time with noise cancelling headphones and my last. Looks like i am among those  who can t stand it.

In that case the ED 8 would be better then the monster beats if that analogy would work.

I don´t find it that strange that someone preferrs A over B really. The ED 8 is lacking sub bass in my ipod touch that´s for sure so he may have a point. Especially if he doesn´t want mids and treble to take away from the bass. I preferr the signature of the Koss Porta Pro over the ED 8s on my Ipod touch.
