I really was not into music until I was 14 which is two years ago, but my first 3 I bought are

I was not even into metal before I discovered Venom online and then I tried listening to them on Pandora radio and Immortal came up, I bought the CDs with all the allowance I had left.

Who is going to be the first to admit that their first album purchase was a Weird Al Yankovic album back when they were 10 or 12 years old?

Weird Al wasn't my first cd purchase, because it was my friend's first cd purchase and he let me borrow it. If I remember correctly it was Poodle Hat.

Still over here scratching my head, but this post made think that mine might have been Hunky Dory. I think I went exploring because George Clinton makes a passing mention of Bowie on that single "P. Funk (Wants To Get Funked Up)" and things like "Changes", "Space Oddity" and "Rebel, Rebel" were staples of rock radio. I remember also having cassettes of Aladdin Sane, Ziggy Stardust and Diamond Dogs.
