Burson HA160 + Senn HD650 = a great match?? other amps that going well with HD650 are also welcomed - Page 2

I would like to know this as well (as I hear the Sennheisers are kinda slow and dull with lesser amps).

Does it make the HD 650's fast enough to work wonders with electronic music genres like goa trance and dark psytrance?

And how is the neutrality with this pairing?

BTW, I own the HA160, used it with my Beyer DT990 600-ohm. I preferred this combo when listening to my rock music  collection (I often listen to classic rock, to 90's alternative, to nu metal genre). For me, this combo also works (almost) perfect with jazz-rock (e.g. Spyro Gyra, Dave Matthews Band, etc), and w/ some female vocals.

I haven't used the HD650 yet so I cannot comment or compare. It can drive the 600-ohm Beyer easily and flawlessly (I usually listen @12 o'clock volume position), and for sure it will also drive the HD650 easily.

It is a stripped down version of the HA160D. The price is also close to HA160.
