I never thought I'd end up doing this, but I'm clearing out my Stax gear to make way for other things.
I bought this pair of 404LTDs from the local Stax dealer for 53,000 yen (about 10,000 yen below what they tended to retail for), which is, last I looked approximately US$635. I'd like what I paid for them + Paypal + trackable shipping.
I have the original box for them and they are in mint condition. I don't smoke or have pets and detest smelly deodorants and aftershave, so by mint I really mean it. I don't think I've even put that many hours on them.
If you need a Stax amp to go with them, I borrowed the T1S I have here from kuboten.com, the owner of which lives around the corner from me and I'm sure would be happy to sell it or another amp to you (shameless plug for a mate).
