The Neutrik heavy duty connector looks to be the nicest one on the market.

I had asked Whiplash Audio if there was going to be a 4-pin version of their carbon 3-pin XLR, and they said they were thinking about it. That was a few months ago though, but I do hope that it's in the pipeline.
You may also want to ping Lee at Cryo-Parts. He may have additional info about these also.
I think Warren Audio is on to the four pin thing. I have a three pin, balanced pair (headphone cable) on order so I can't say regarding four pin. In an online conversation with him (Rick) regarding my order, he did mention four pin connects.
I just checked Warren Audio's web site and they list four pin, Neutrik 4-pin XLR.
Also, I've purchased from Double Helix Cable and he (Peter) may be able to help you.
The stainless steel Neutrik is very nice looking in person, very tough too. I found that the basic Furutech line's parts (FP701 etc) were interchangeable with Neutrik's parts for the most part so you can stick the 4 pin Neutrik insert into the body of the shiny Furutech FP701 and make yourself a "Furutech" 4 pin.
I have found the HD 4-pin to be the best out there right now, until some business or group decides to make rhodium plated 4-pins or the like....I will continue to use them.
Sorry,
I don't understand about the 4 pin Neutrik balanced is it still balanced cable, because some of my frineds said that
you need to use the 3 pin xlr or you will have the unbalanced, is that true?
Do we also have Furutech 4 pin or viablue, are they better than the neutrik?
Sorry I am a beginner here so I may ask basic thing here and what is the difference in carbon or rhodium in the SQ
thanks,
Balanced doesn't necessarily require using a shield connected to chassis ground with left and right, as it does with XLR interconnects, when you're hooking up headphones. You just use 2 contacts out of 3 from each 3-pin XLR, or all 4 contacts of the 4 pin XLR --- for L+, L-, R+, R-. Balanced for headphones just means that you are actively driving the - channels for left/right with their own amp channels, rather than one passive, shared return for them as with a single-ended amp. That is what provides the extra power, the active push/pull.
I can take a picture of one I reassembled sometime, but I was just saying you can buy a 3 pin Furutech FP701 male and put the 4-pin insert from any Neutrik 4-pin XLR inside, using the Furutech body as decoration. There are no other 4 pin XLRs.

I have not dismissed the idea of having some carbon fiber four pins made yet. However, I have to balance the cost of tooling and the minimum order required, with the potential of how many I could sell. If I can get the numbers to work, I'll do it. But so far, the ROI is not looking good. But never say never, ha!
Peace,
Lee

Please explain to me what you feel the purpose of rhodium plating is for.
