EDIT--SOLD!!!
Hey, all. These just aren't getting used, as I'm such a Stax addict, so I figure there's no reason to keep them around anymore.
The cans themselves are in very good condition. I know that electrostatic headphones need extra care, and that's exactly what they have been given. When not in use, they are stored in a cardboard box. After use, I discharge them and put them right back in the box. They haven't seen a whole lot of use, again, because I'm more into the Stax sound. The only thing I can notice to fault the cans is that there is a tiny amount of "scuffing" on the earpads, but it's very minor.
I do have the HEV70 amp, but I'll be honest... I don't know if it works anymore, and I don't feel like hasseling with finding the voltage convertor that the cleaning lady apparently felt the need to hide. I don't think anyone in their right mind would use this amp with a great set of cans like this to begin with, but I know there are people who like to have it just so they can take pictures for bragging rights lol. Just so we're clear, though, I was not able to test this. I'm not saying it IS broken; for all I know it works.
These also come with a Stax adaptor.
I'm going to do this eBay style... if you want to "Buy it now!", the first person who lands in my mailbox gets it for $1,800. Otherwise, I'm going to start the bidding at $1,400 and let the bidding go on for ten days; at that point, the highest bidder gets it.
Here are some pictures:
