Limited Edition Cans: A List

Hello all,

 

I did a search for a listing of all limited edition cans in the past couple of years.

 

I didn't really find a list, more of a bunch of different thread for different phones.  So this will be a list (if you make it).

Quite a few more, not coming to mind right now. By limited edition I assume you mean production contemplated to be limited to a certain quantity from the start (though sometimes they might add additional production).

Umm there's the Edition 8 limited but it's kinda lame cuase it's purly cosmetic.

It wasn't in the past couple of years, but Sennheiser put out the HD-580 Jubilee in 1995 to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

I wonder what we'll get for Sennheiser's 75th.

Couple, few, several, they might all be different but I will revise my statement to recent years.  Recent has no numeric value directly associated with it.  So now you can technically post things from a way long time ago...  Ah well.

ESW10JPN was released 2008, buddy, so that was 2 years. Ed10 too, though you could argue not yet released. I don't have a problem with limited cosmetic editions, happens all the time in clothing and accessories, should have caught the Ed8 limited. Plus, I figured OP wouldn't mind if I were overstepped it, shrug, I figured what matters is that you can still get some of them on the secondary market. 

 

Audio Technica had a gold Pro700, that is also limited as far as I can tell, and I think it's pretty recent.

If you include ESW10JPN to the list, then I think AD1000PRM deserve too. They were born together (17 Oktober 2008 from what I remember), both of them for limited quantity only.

 

And hey, don't forget to count the W3000 ANV !

Well, within the past two years (I know this is an old thread) the Ultrasone ED10 and Denon A100 came out.
