Pair of NOS Western Electric 408A

The Sylvania are the rare GOLD PIN tubes.

I tested only emmisions and verified zero leaks but never heard them in an amp.

Internal construction of both tubes is very similar but there is a slight difference: one has a black plate (code JCW) and one has shiny silver metal plate (code AJ).

I don't know the exact dates but they should be vintage tubes from the late 50s or 60s.

Print is faded on both tubes. Original boxes are in good shape.

 

In addition, I am also selling a pair of WE 408A, both have code 5839.

Tubes are like new. Same for the original military boxes.

 

Price is $45 shipped in the US.

I can ship worldwide at extra cost.

The Sylvania tubes in the picture are sold.

I still have the WE tubes, both with date code 5839 (week 39, 1958).

They are in excellent condition with the original military white sleeves.

Price is $25 for the pair shipped in the US.
