I wonder if anybody could share a BOM with prices? 800 $-1000 $ is quite lot of money!

Yes thats a good point, there is a BOM here:

but its nowhere near 800$

trust me itll add up.  i was estimating a $600 price tag when i first started

The BOM is only for one board without power supply. It also does not include things like a case, wiring, jacks, volume control, standoffs, etc

When you start to add everthing in all
inclusive, it is not a cheap project.
