can you guys tell me if the extra  $50 is worth spending on the opamp upgrade (the opa627). I need an amp with low output impedence. I need this to use with XBA-4. Thank you

the 627 is fine for richening the signature if your phones sound on the thin and/or bright side.

 

The 8610 stock opamp is a fun, audiophile sound on both ends of the spectrum without over doing it.  

 

The 209 is the best at detail and transparency w/o emphasizing brightness IMO of the three.  What I use.

 

There's other impressions either in this thread or other Leckerton threads.
