I am looking to start building my own electrostatic speakers...

Any input form the community... This is my first DIY project...

 

I was thinking on modeling it around this headphone design but just scaled up...

Does that sound doable???

Sounds doable to me. Either scaling up the driver size or use several smaller sized drivers. Will certainly be interesting to follow.

ok so no one has been able to tell me how much the thickness of the mylar matters

ok just ordered 2um dupont mylar with elvamide...

hopefully it arrive quickly...

Then we can get started with the other parts
