Sylvania Gold Brand 408A

I have for sale 1 pair of Sylvania Gold Brand 408A tubes. These tubes don't appear to be gold pinned. The person whom sold it to me said it was about 500 hours on them. I may have put another 200 maybe 300, on them. This tube is lusted after by Little Dot I+ owners. I am selling them for 35$ + Shipping CONUS only. I do not accept paypal, a check, money order or cash sent to me is sufficient.

I do not use them as they are very microphonic about certain things especially our house phone seemingly. Putting a hand near it instantly silences the noise it's picking up. I believe this is common with this tube, however. One of the tubes is much darker than the other. The lettering is all but worn off due to my using herbie's tube dampers.

If you like, I can also include an LT1364CN8 with the purchase for 5$ even. If you are interested in other op amps for the I+ I have quite a collection. I can also include an LME49720 for yet another 5$. Neither should impact shipping.

Send any inquiries via PM.

I will post pictures of the tubes tonite.

Tubes with box. As you can see, the left tube is considerably darker than the right. This is how I received them.

Left Tube, the darker one.

Right tube, the clearer one.

Sound should be good, these tubes provide a warm, fluid and smooth sound, at the cost of some treble. For a very treble heavy op amp it can make a really good match. With a neutral op amp (In my I+, this would appear to be the OPA2107) it provides a very dark experience. They still sound good, but they aren't my cup of tea.
