What are the steps to sell here?

So once I find a buyer for my IEMs, how do I proceed after that?

 

What process do most people here take to avoid getting ripped off for the most part?

no guarantee here, but if you use paypal as a payment method you are covered more than usually if you are a confirmed user.  That means if someone decides to just take your money and not send your item, you can open a dispute in paypal and if they dont reply within X amount of time or the paypal case worker sees something wrong, you will get a refund.  It happened to me a few times ( not here on head fi, on ebay actually )  but the paypal guys helped

 

buy ya, the steps?  

 

-Create a topic in the correct forum for your item that you wish to sell or want to buy

-speak through private messages and exchange payment info

-send your money or item

-receive it and enjoy?

well thanks for that info but heres another question.

 

how should i handle paypal to avoid fees?  ive heard mention of labeling it as a gift...

and if its a international shipment, how do i label the package so that the buyer avoids any taxes or fees?

Marking package as gift or say it's worth really less so that the customs duties / tax is low because of them. But that's not 100% proof way because the customs may deem that the item is really more worth than the 10 dollars people claim (for like 500 dollar earbuds). So it's a chance you take (but it usually works just fine I might add).
