Cowon D3 - We have contact... - Page 7

Possibly since January 1st is the Korean release. Journal du Geek says that its going to be released in France (and I'd assume everywhere else) on Jan 20th. I think I can wait until the 20th just so that I don't have to deal with import prices.

Still unsure huh? Well I want to upgrade from my zune hd, I really hope they come out with a price estimate for the states. They should, after we find out how much they want for it in korea

I've got a 3 year old D2 that I've been wanting to replace, but I just love it so muchbiggrin.gif Its showing some serious signs of age though. With the current conversion rates the pricing would range from ~$250-350

I read that Cowon is working on something similar to itunes (like everybody is), does anybody know something about this yet?

Can u actually set up a home ridge based on the Cowon, i almost never buy/burn CDs?

Doesit have that note block, like on the apples?

What Browser is it using?

What DAC is it using?

Crap....it has no camera with HD video.

It had better not be like iTunes, simple drag and drop is on of the main reasons I use Cowon's line of players.

I'd imagine its something like an online store. They already have their own media software, JetAudio, so I could only imagine that it'd be something along those lines. I wouldn't be surprised if its only available in Korea though.

They might do something korean only, yet they might allow other 3rd party markets to play on the d3 (rapsody, ect)

This will work well because of the wifi in it, yet not through a cell service, only ifi

It's running android, so it's purely android.

If you connect of wifi, you should be able to connect without a problem.

And Cowon wouldn't place a notepad on their devices (the j3 has two of them) and you could probably download 2380492375809275 notepads fromt he android market

Ok the D3 has no 3G... Cowon will bring out a tablet or something like that with android software, however this tablet could have 3G, so such service would work great with that.

Cowon D3: We Have Pictures... They may be already posted, but I figured I would do it again since they aren't on the first or last page.

Good Idea... Actually we had a phantom and a fake Cowon D3 picture, but not the real one. :)
