Cowon D3 - We have contact...

Most Cowon - fans may already know that there will be a D3 in future, but nobody know when it will be out or any detail about it. While surfing through the internet I found this:

Hmm, the plot thickens. It'll be interesting to see if it has anything over the J3.

I hope we will see the X7 by the end of October. Also I think the D3 will be out for Christmas.

 

 

Have you ever thought about how long we will wait for the X8 or X9?? Maybe 3 or 4 years again...

Well the D2 is a Hell of a DAP. I am also excited about how Cowon will top the D2.

Personally, I hope it is a LOT better. The D2 was the 3rd most frustrating player I've used that's been recommended here. The other one, a Fuze 2G has been given away and the S:Flo 2 will find a similar fate. EQ and EFX are fine, but not a migraine-inducing channel slimming and bass roll off for trance users. The D2 would be good enough if the stereo image didn't collapse with low Ω earphones. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. If the D3 stays the same size (or gets thinner) and improves on the sound, I'll be interested. But otherwise, no way.

I just hope Cowon FINALLY does away w/the irritating bass roll-off issue on the D3 and X7. I've held off getting an iPod classic because of the prospect of the HOPEFULLY spacious capacity of the upcoming X7 - and if it doesn't finally come out by Nov I'm getting the classic.

 

Don't get me wrong, my D2 and J3 sound great, but the classic sounds wonderful w/the cans I own. Either way I won't lose, but Cowon will lose my money and voice - and that's what matters. I am quite happy w/my J3, but I want MASSIVE CARRYING SPACE!!! And,..................no bass roll-off (this will make the Cowon the best sounding DAP around, better than my personal fav - SONY!!!).

LOL, I suggest you don't get the D3 or any player tha is not an Ipod.

It seems that it will have WIFI. Well it is nothing surprising about it, because Android would be nonsense without internet.
