What alternatives to comfy ?

Hi,

I'm a noobie. smily_headphones1.gif

I have these comfy t400 tips on my Pannasonic  hje900 (which are awesome btw).

They rip & fall apart like every 3 weeks WTH!

Is there a better 'material' foam tip to use?

Its crazy to spend $$ a year on replacing these things constantly.

You can try the Monster foam tips which are indeed better but the problem is which tip actually fits. It is expensive but does not disintegrate every 2-3 weeks. Other than that there really isn't any option for foam unless you want to DIY out of foam earplugs.

I bought the sampler pack they have.  They are freaking fantastic.  The sampler pack has a bunch of sizes with both the foam and gel.  I hated comply on my IE8s.  I tried installing them backwards.  I even asked if I could extend the tube to the end.  I said I'd buy a 100pack and they kinda blew me off.

The monsters are very durable so far.

Interesting, where did you order from? and, did you pick a specific size or go with all?

Monster sampler pack all the way.  However, I have no idea who Monster styled the large tips for; there is no way anyone has that big on an ear canal.

The only other foamies i can think of that will fit are orange shure foamies, I haven't had them for a while but I never remember them falling apart as quickly as comply's and they were always very comfortable.

Beta Brainwavz came with foamies that seemed solid enough, Playaz/Xears sells some orange ones online that look remarkably similar.

Me.

I use the very biggest pair of Gel SuperTips with my Turbine Pro-Gold. Even the very biggest pair of Foam SuperTips required zero compression: they slip right in.

Anyone knows where to get the monster tips for euro customers? I'm getting tired of the hard foamies that were supplied with the IE8 and they are getting tired too.

Did you try amazon.uk?

I live in france so I thought the amazon websites only delivered to their own country. checked on amazon.fr and there is nothing.
