WTB: Bookshelf Speakers + Amp or Receiver

Thread Starter

I am looking for some 2.0 bookshelf speaker and an amp / receiver.

I am looking to spend ~$200-$300 on both speakers and amp/receiver.

Used equipment is fine. You don't need to sell both speakers and amp/receiver, one or the other is fine.

I live in Canada (GTA), and am in no real rush, just looking at my options.

PM me with offers

Buy their blowout deal on the WAF-1 and Gizmo.  Simply cannot be beat at this price point.  Good luck.

thanks, I will take a look and see what their shipping rates are to Canada. Hopefully that doesn't increase the price too much.

I'm selling this amp if you are interested. Nice aesthetics to it:

I'll strongly second the TweakCityAudio setup.  Only one caveat: the Gizmo amp has a pretty sensitive input level, and mine had an issue with some distortion even with line level sources.

But hooked up to a volume-controlled source, especially a computer output, it's a heck of a setup!  I still have 2 Gizmo's (used to have 3!), one is modded to take care of the input level issue; the WAF-1's were sold as part of a 5.0 system, but I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.  Pretty neutral sound, especially good with voice/vocals.

unfortunately shipping to Canada kind of kills the deal.

I found some paradigm Titans used for $100 which I think I am going to jump on.

I now just need an amp or something for those.
