Yes I am, but I like the atmosphere of this forum(or maybe the entire western culture) more. The only thing I hate here is this amazingly annoying editor. It's kinda strange since I've never been to a foreign country for long(I've been to Canada for 4 weeks when I was like 8, but that's all).

and..you can read perfectly? all that slang and stuff? wow, you must be pretty good!

Starcraft 2 does look sick btw...

The so-called official importers are monopolistic, and they charge any amount they want with extremely unsatisfying customer service. I usually import myself using amazon and some sites offering delivery from US to Korea, and oftentimes, it is cheaper even with the international shipping cost. Don't buy any headphones here!!!

I went to the headphone store at iparkmall and you were all right. it was definitely over priced. an AKG K701 costed about $650 there but at least the selection was amazing. some of the best headphones ive seen demoed in awhile.

i had the pleasure to try sennheiser hd800s, audio technica es10, ws50, w1000x, etc. i felt i reached korea's headphone heaven haha  thx for the recommendations!

I agree, don't buy headphones here, I always buy online and import from overseas.

EarphoneShop is perhaps the best known headphone shop by the Seoul headphile community. It deals with a lot of high-end brands, such as Audio-technica, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Audez'e, Stax, et cetera. If you're going there by subway, it's right at the Hyehwa metro station (line number 4).

I purchased my LCD-2 from here, by the way.

YEAAAA!!!

IM IN KOREA TO SEE MY FAMILY AS WELL!!

I'm planning on going to the earphoneshop.co.kr, just to try out though, I'm gonna order on interpark.com or zound.co.kr

Korea isn't as good for traveling as Japan or Hong Kong because its NOT a tourism country, its very industrial. But IMO its better than Japan for shopping but not as good by a tiny margin as HK.

Japan is just a more expensive (when i say expensive, i mean A LOT more expensive) version of SK and HK, the prices between HK and SK is about the same but the only reason i like HK a tiny bit more is because HK is part China so you can get those dodgy cheap gadgets there.

when i go to HK, i just can't stand how dirty it is. Australia and Korea is just so much cleaner.
