Schiit Asgard vs. K.I.C.A.S/Caliente.....opinions?

Looking for a new amp in this price range ($250-300) for a pair of HD650s. Anyone have any experience using each of these amps? Each seems to have a great reputation amongst head-fiers, but i cannot locate a comparison. They seem to be very similar in build. Any experiences?

KICAS/Caliente Is one of the amps that I own. It has a warm and involving mid-range and very good bass extension.The treble is clear but not to the extreme. The sound stage is wide but no as wide as the best at this price range.

If your headphones are a bit bright and bass shy, then this amp is a good match with it. Surprisingly, it matches quite well with my Denon D5000 which has good bass by themselves already. Overall, it is not a perfect amp but at this price it is a bargain. I had decided to keep it and sold my Darkvoice 336se (tubes rolled).
