Input Ground Problem

I'm working on a CK2III amp with multiple inputs, and I'm using a 2 pole rotary switch for the different inputs. On the CK2III wiring section, it looks like you're supposed to connect the input grounds to the pot, then it goes from there to the board. Can I have all the grounds going to the same place? Do I need to have the ground going through the pot? I'll be using a ground loop breaker, and my case is all metal.

Just tie all the input grounds together at the RCA jacks and run one wire from there to the pot.  Mount your RCA jacks with isolation washers.

Thank you, I wasn't sure if the grounds had to be switched or not.
