I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, since my question is not only related to dap's.
Currently i am using either my cowon s9 or sony x1050 with either westone um3x (with ACS custom sleevs) or ath ck100. I am thinking of updating my rig and i was wondering what upgrade would benefit me the most sound quality wise.
I was thinking of getting either
*getting the Hifiman HM-801 to replace my cowon and sony
or
*getting an custom iem instead of my universals (either jh-13 pro or westone es5, haven't decided yet).
Because of my budget, i can only get one.
