Cleaned tube pins with DeoxIT...

...  But is there anything else I can use the product for?  Analog connections between source and amp?

Or is it only good for tube pins?

The cigarette lighter didn't work in my girlfriend's car until i sprayed it with deoxit. Hey bingo, she is now smoking her little head off!

Joking aside, Deoxit can be used to clean any electrical connection and it's something every gear head should do once in a while

But thanks I won't smoke DeoxIT and I will use it on some other electric contacts I have.

Hmmmm ,what does DeoxIT taste like?.

 

To get back on topic,

I use servisol super 10 on my contacts and switches,(mainly because i got a free can from work and its easy to get from maplins in the UK).

It does the job well,but do you think the extra cost of DeoxIT would be worth it?.

Well Deoxit is made at Caig laboratories, so that means it must have been invented by boffins in white coats,so thats good enough for me

Totally off topic but as an Ex-Pat living in Canada your avatar brings back many happy memories of childhood.. Think I am going to have to visit you tube!

 I thought the "boffins in white coats" worked in lunatic asylums not in laboratories.

 

Any way DeoxIt Gold is good as a final coat on pins for long term protection.
