Hifiman EF2 Not Loud with new Headphones - Page 2

It's because of their sensitivity. The headphones aren't broken, they just are a bit harder to amp than most. I had the same issue when I used to have the PRO4AAT's a year or so back.

I'm having a problem with the Hifiman EF2A that I use as a dac for computers.

 

For some reason the amp will only give sound to the right side of the Grado sr60i, the left side is silent. Any ideas what's wrong?

I would check all my connections and if that does not fix the issue I would try the cans in a different amp/source. Lastly I would try another set of cables. BTW have you reseated the tubes and swapped them to see if the "dead" channel switches?

I've come to the realization that the cans are broke, I'll have to get them repaired.
