I just got these the other day while I was out looking for some new headphones (I grew tired of IEMs).
I knew when I bought these they would be mostly a flat EQ rather than character, but that was ok, I'm doing video production too now and I need something good when video editing, but music isn't that bad either.. Though I do add a bit of a bump in the iTunes EQ on the bass side, to up the bass a little.. I don't like neutral bass that much, but you know, they handle the EQ rather well without any distortion!
Only thing is though, I use the Hifiman EF2 as my headphone amp, and with these headphones the amp runs at nearly 150F in temp.. Seems to overheat a little, so a stronger amp may be in order soon.. What amp should I get for these headphones?
