Any one?

I think the (out of production) AKG K280 Parabolic or K290 would make for an excellent gaming headphone due to it's incredible soundstage and imaging abilities from the 4 drivers.  And it's got enough bass for explosions, and I don't think it's weaknesses would really matter for gaming.

They're also less expensive than many of the phones above.  Can be found on ebay or in the forums occasionally.

But I'm not a gamer...

Price doesn't really matter...

Really...

Would you have the AKG K280 or AKG K209, rather than the ones in the poll...

Why?

M50s sound great from any source and/or amp. Great for gaming

The K290 was AKG's surround headphone. Had 1 or 2 drivers in the front & back.. Great imaging & SQ.. The K280 has two drivers connected together side ways.. imaging is very visceral.. Excellent for gaming.. I owned a pair..

As your poll.. The DT880 just does it for me.. & I owned/heard over 30 headphones.. For gaming The DT880/MDR F1.. Those are my top 2..

Yep, that is what i meant...

Keep your thoughts and op ions coming?

For FPSers, the F1's easy.. No headphone under a grand will give you the speaker like spatial ability & imaging.. Just due to their design. Too bad they don't sound like 1,000 headphones.

Really...

You like the MDR F1 better than the DT880 or Ad700...

What sets the MDR F1 apart from the AD700 or Dt880?

Some thoughts please?

In terms of bass response and treble, how good are the

Sony MDR-F1?
