Suggestions for melodic and profound piano music~ :D

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE PIANO MUSIC

but there are so many pieces and performers out there that I don't know where to start.  So I would be SO glad if someone would give me some suggestions.

I am mainly searching for 3~15 minute pieces, but if there is anything that is too good not to mention please do mention it.

Two main types I am looking for:

Lyrical, heart-wrenchingly melodic pieces that just squeeze out the profundity of good chord progressions, melodies, etc.

Pieces I can just chew on and savor.

Some examples:

= Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #2 (although I'm looking for something shorter)

= "FFVII Main Theme" and "Tifa's Theme" - FFVII Piano Collections (yes it's from a game... but its freaking beautiful)

= The kind of jazzy, soulful improv-like pieces that keyboardists of old do on rhodes keyboards and the like.

= Stuff with major 7th and 9th chords, lol.

= Jim Brickman sucks.

Jazzy, energetic jams with complex harmonies.  Can be in a mix with other instruments, but preferably no singing.

I hear this kind of music everywhere but I don't know what genre it is!  I just call it "jamming".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ5Vj6uJ7AQ&feature=related 4:29~4:50 is kind of in the ballpark.

and basically anything in between...

I basically like anything with tasteful and lyrical yet complex harmonies.  I know that is so vague but perhaps you'll understand XD I can listen to a lot of stuff so suggest away!!

Thanks in advance!

Keith Jarrett is an amazing talent.  Start with the Koln Concert and see if you like that:  http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=keith+jarrett&aq=0

Edit: In the same note (or tone) as FF, the main theme from Kingdom Hearts I and II (Dearly Beloved) is very good.

No offense but the recording sounds rather flat and distant to me.
