Hello guys,
My CD player had three (visible) trim pots: TG, FG and TS-BAL. I presume, in order, Tracking Gain, Focusing Gain and Tracking Servo Balance.
So I'll just shoot my question out here. The CD player reads CDs fine, plays fine, sounds heavenly. I don't actually want to adjust anything, but what do the trim pots do (what does 'tracking gain' mean, if I am right)? Are there any adjustments to make the sound even better?
