FS: Denon D7000 Mahogany Earcups

For sale is a pair of Denon solid wood earcups for the top-of-the-line AH-D7000 headphones. These cups are made of genuine mahogany with a superb piano gloss finish. They are in very nice condition. I have installed Dynamat (for Markl mods) inside them to reduce spurious resonances and tighten up the bass. (The Dynamat can be removed if desired, but I recommend using it.)

 

If you're looking to install D7000 cups on a D2000, it requires removing some of the plastic on the D2000 pieces that the earcups screw onto because the D7000 has slightly different internal frame structure than the D2000. (Can be done in about 2 minutes with a Dremel tool.)

 

Price for the D7000 cups is $100 including PayPal fees and shipping within the continental U.S..
