WTB: Replacement dynamic driver element[s] for vintage AKG K340 headphones?

Hi all,

 

I have a dead dynamic driver in my AKG K340 headphones.

If anyone has an extra matched pair,  please let me know how much $$$ you would take for them.

Mine have the green housing, so that is the ones I prefer.

They can be from an AKG K340 or a K240 Sextett, etc.

If you don't have any, could you tell me where I might be able to get some?

Sent an email to Frank at AKG. They no longer sell any K340 parts.

Sent an email to R W Soundsystem in Germany as well. No reply yet.

BUMP ^

The dynamic drivers for the K340 are no longer available anywhere, including AKG and R W soundsystem in Germany.

you can use monitor drivers or any 600 ohm k140/k141/k240 driver, just swap the shells if needed and you are good to go

 

also just out of curiosity, are your drivers red or green?

BUMP:

 

Obtained an old pair of K140's, and the drivers will not fit right for some reason.

Guess I need a pair of the K340 or K240 drivers with the green housings.

Still looking...
