I punched in the item code on Kmart's website....only info available was for the corner shelfs. The other items are not on Kmart's website either. However, I e-mailed Kmart for info needed. Let's hope they (or Martha Stewart) will respond.

I received a response from Kmart.com today regarding the $20.00 audio rack. First, this was my e-mail....


In the November 30 circular...

there's a sale on entertainment center, 4-shelf bookcase, 2-pack corner shelf, or audio center for $20.00 each. I can't seem to locate the dimensions to these items, except for the corner shelf (item # 147741). Also, what are these items made of?

Anyway, I found the following info on another forum regarding these audio racks....

You have to go to a brick and mortar K-Mart for the $20 racks. The height on the $20 is not tall at all and the legs, etc. are heavy plastic although the shelves are wood and are good for audio components themselves.

For 20 bucks, that THING is probably made of ABS and weighs 5lbs with enough sonic isolation to support only a sony PCDP with shock protection on! I think what you put good components on is as important as the quality of the components themselves. Others may disagree!
