Source to amp cable

How much does the quality of it matter?Recommend me a good one with 1/8 plug on one end and 2 RCA plugs on another - to connect the amp to soundcard.Right now im using something I bought for my computer speakers in hardware store.

You can get one as vheap as five bucks from Radio shack or you can have a good one made from www.jmtaudio.com You can also go to www.headphone.com and check out there cables.

If you're using a sound card as a source, $100+ cables are overkill (your cables would be worth almost as much (or more!) as your source). The AR cable that Halide linked to would probably be a decent value for you though.

a lot of people avoid cable questions because it's a pretty heated debate. I agree $100 is too much to spend if using a soundcard. An upgrade to Monster Cable or similar is probably worth it.

When you get your cables listen and then decide for yourself. Even better why dont you buy those $5 dollar ratshack cables and compare them to the better cables you pick up and hear for yourself. On the flipside you dont want to spend the same amount of money on cables as you do on your source (unless you own your own yacht). Like I said get them both and check them out.
