Would a SRM-006t work well with SR-007 MKII headphones

I bought a 4040 II system 2 weeks ago and I thinking of getting the O2 headphones but I can't afford another amp at this time. How would the 006t mate with the O2's?

It probably will not ignite nor explode but I still advise against it.

 

Give the SR-003 mini-Omega a try.

Can you elaborate?  Is there not enough power or is it too veiled?  Is the SRM-007 amp that much better?

It will sound overly dark and there will be hardly any bass control to speak of. You can try replacing the amp first instead.

All of the above and the 007t isn't that much of an upgrade.
