Hi, new to the site so sorry before hand for another question like this.
 
I was just debating whether the NE-6's at £31 ($50) is worth the extra compared to the Vibe's at £12 (£19) both 100% genuine!
After previously owning the creative ep-630 i am after an upgrade and have come across these two models after a little research. I found the bass on the creatives a bit overbearing with the mids & highs just plain bad.
 
The music genres i will mostly be listening to is: House, Drum&Bass, a little dubstep and also some RnB and rock/pop.
So yeah pretty much everything lol, bit of a basshead but do not want it to be over dominant.
 
Of course any other makes/models above these would be very welcome, but max i want to spend is about £30 ($50)

That's a little pricy for the NE-6. You can get a ViSang R02 off ebay for that sort of money. It should have the right balance of mids and lows for you.

So do u believe these to be better than the vibes? And are they worth the extra cash??

It's been a very long time since I owned the Vibe and in that time they've gone through several revisions and made it a lot cheaper. Not sure if the sound remained the same since the 1-st gen Vibe but unless there's a marked improvement I'd say the R02 is a better earphone. They should only run you about $42 shipped which is a great deal. You can also save a few bucks by ordering the R01 instead but the cable is not as nice and it doesn't come with a carrying case.

theres a seller on ebay that sells pink vibes for like 6 dollars only... 128 headphones.. dunno if he ships international though.

thanks for your replies, i have gone ahead and ordered the Visang R02. Cant believe i overlooked the Visangs in the first place??!!
