Phono Cartridges for sale:

 

Audio Technica DR500LC, bought as NOS a few years back. it has a very similar sound to the 440ML, less than 10 hours. $60


 I have 8 or 9 turntables, a few must go,

I've listened to both these Thorens TTs at TOm's place about a year or so ago when he was selling an Empire 408 table..They are just heavenly and ^^ is right, Tom's got exquisite taste when it comes to audio.

i cannot believe you haven't sold these beauty's yet, if i lived in portland that table would be  spinning in my living room right now! 

 

note if you are into hifi and live in  portalnd area  you are foolish to pass these tables up seriously ,, the td 125 suspended platter is the best design and plinth of all the thorens tables including the td 160 super or even the 124 probably,, it will give you  blacker backgrounds and deep punching bass.   its suspension is far different and superior to all thorens tables, so even  if u  already have a thorens it would behoove you to give the 125 a try, especially  such beauties.
