All black, PCM1704 based balanced CDP with coax input and analogue volume control.  Can be used as a CDP, digital source and preamp/balanced headphone amp.  Fantastic source with a lot of flexibility.  Trying to raise some funds to put together another vinyl rig.

Details on the mods can be found below.

"Steve's Referenence Level modification of the Opus 21 involves the following:

The GNSC OPUS 21 mods do not involve changing any components in the digital or analog signal path... the mods focus on improving the power supplies, mechanical control, and RF environment to allow the OPUS player reach its full potential.

The sonic improvement is significant. There will be a blacker background, improved focus, a smoother, more natural presentation, improved air and ambient retrieval, and much more weighty well defined bass with improved dynamic ability.

The power supply is upgraded significantly in this modification. These improvements include larger value premium grade filter capacitors in critical areas of the unit, removal of current limiting resistors on certain regulators, rectification improvements, power factor correction on the AC input, AC wiring upgrades, and damping treatment of critical components.

Significant chassis, board, and mechanism damping is performed. This is a very comprehensive damping package designed to deal with internal vibration and resonance.

Local energy reservoir and filtering is added to the analog section in many key locations to provide the quietest and most dynamic sonic presentation possible.

RF absorbing techniques are employed in key locations."

Looking for $2,100.  Will come with all the original documentation from Resolution Audio and Great Northern Sound as well as the original wooden shipping crate.

Please PM me if you have any questions or concerns.
