I've been meaning to do this for some time, but just way too much going on.
Okay, so as I ravely reviewed the Monster Copper Turbines back in June. Sadly, the right channel had died and they were QUICKLY replaced.
I swear the replacements are even BETTER than my review samples.
The break in period was even smoother and to-day's trip into work totally floored me.
The music was Beethoven Symphonies 5 & 6 with Sir Roger Norrington and the London Classical Players, a Nimbus CD of period performance.
All I can say, is I hadn't expected to hear what I was hearing. Almost totally neutral with only the teeniest hint of H/F edginess (due to the source). Incredible width, dynamics and TRUE sense of colour on this recording.
So, the honeymoon is hardly over with these, particularly as these are the replacements for the review samples
It just never seems to be a dull moment listening to these and just wanted to provide an update
