Matrix Mini i Balanced DAC/ AMP, MINT Like New 2 weeks old, almost broken in!

Hey everyone! This silver Matrix is a week and a half old as of now, and has 220 hours on it, but about 3 hours of actual "use". It is in absolutely positively MINT condition, and is EXACTLY as new. Comes with everything shown, which is everything; box, manual, cables, packing material. I paid $330 for it a couple of weeks ago; I'll let it go for $275, but please keep in mind it's the same as new. No trades please, and please no silly offers for half or anything like that. I am shipping from zip code 07747, East Coast USA. I am new to this site, but my ebay username is: mp360cs. I've been on there for a decade with HUNDREDS of positive feedbacks, and I am a Paypal verified Premier member. I strongly prefer Paypal for this sale, and UPS shipping (includes tracking and insurance) and please, only to a verified address.

Yes, all the positive reviews online and this site are true; it sounds fantastic! It is wonderful, and smooth. The headphone amp IS sufficient, and is really all you need. It drove my D7000's to dangerous levels before my ears gave out.

Reason for sale?

Don't need it. I tried the sparrow, and had such trouble selling it because it had a scratch on the bottom, I decided to keep it, and sell the matrix as it is mint. They both sound great, not enough of a difference for me. I thought this would be an easier sale, but I'm growing impatient. If this isn't gone by this weekend, I'm just gonna put it on eBay where it's sure to sell.

Hey it's just a few days. No reason for being impatient :D

You should keep it, sell the Sparrow and buy a LD MKVII+ to go balanced. Then there would be "enough of a difference".

NO! Since my Sparrow came from the factory free with a scratch on the bottom, I got all kinds of stupid offers. One guy actually offered me $120(!) for a 2 week old Sparrow version A ($278 total)!! Soooo, being that the Matrix cost more, and is MINT, I figured I'll keep the Sparrow, and get rid of the Matrix, as I don't care about the scratch at all. For what I listen to (mostly rock) the differences are minimal, and require critical listening, and A/B testing to hear. I see what you're saying about going balanced, and while it's a great idea, I've now gone as far into this hobby as I'm willing to go. I want a small, inexpensive, one box DAC/amp solution, and I found it in both the Sparrow and Matrix. I went to the NJ meet this year, and listened to all kinds of stuff; one setup costing as much as 10K!! And you know what? I like the Sparrow and the Matrix, and want nothing more! Years ago I was designing and building truly exotic, and highly complex speaker systems, and that too got out of hand. Spent thousands of dollars and countless hundreds of hours of time. I no longer wish to go that far into any part of the audiophile world. So, I'm gonna cut the headphone hobby off where it is now: Denon D7000 with a Sparrow and a PS3. It's good enough for me. Simple, small, cheap (well, relatively). Done.

As for being impatient; I can't help it. It's in my NY blood, and I'm in sales, and I hate clutter!! Even though it's just a little box in my office, it's money tied up with something I have no use for, and it's taking up space. Plus, based on what I've seen selling stuff on this forum, I have a funny feeling I'm never gonna get what it's worth, and I'm wasting my time. I think it'll sell VERY quickly on ebay, but I'm hoping to find the right person on this board who it will be a good deal for; sort of like giving back to the community, you know? Oddly, I sold a pair of Grado headphones here a few months ago that were a few years old for almost what they cost new, and in no time at all. Go figure! Makes NO sense to me!
