Does anyone plan on purchasing this? I have a basic Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 series and I wanted to get something with Bluetrack technology and a diminutive USB or Bluetooth receiver. This is a moderately priced and incredibly stylish mouse with unique features. I am digging it.

Thanks.

I have 2 Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 6000. They're pretty ordinary. I havent tried their Bluetrack ones but I prefer Logitech. I suggest one of the M705, M905, M950.

I use the M950 (a.k.a. MX Performance) as my portable laptop mouse and it's fantastic. Not sure about the US but we can get those here for about $70.

I navigated to the Logitech home page and I looked into your recommendations. The Unifying receiver is a brilliant idea and I do not know if Microsoft has an answer to that technology yet. Based upon what I see for their wireless keyboard and mice products, I think the answer is no. The Logitech website has an automated guide that points me to products sold in Australian dollars.

I checked on Amazon and NewEgg for a wider selection of mice, but I did not see anything that I wanted that would be as cool as the Microsoft Arc Touch yet.

Here is more information about the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse:

I prefer Microsoft products myself. While I have no problems with my existing mouse, I wanted something that had a smaller nano receiver instead of the large USB dongle that I currently use. Also, it is good to have a backup mouse just in case it gets lost or stolen.
