Worst drivel in the past 50 years.

I didn't' like Jonsi either.  I really want to because I love Sigur Ros, but every time I put it on I just get annoyed and change albums.  I can't think of anything else that I have really disliked.  But I haven't found a lot of new music I'm really excited about.

Highlights for me would probably be The National and The Tallest Man on Earth.  So good.

Well that would be fun to see and hear.  I think a lot of their greatest are from the blue album... kind of.  If you're lucky, it'll be Josh Freese on drums.  That would be cool!

Another disappointment, Ben Folds and Nick Hornby, The Lonely Avenue.  I want the old Ben Folds Five back!  Ben has been on a steady decline ever since their break up.

I actually enjoy Jonsi.  It gets boring fast, but a song from the album every now and then is enjoyable.

How to Destroy Angels

It sounds like Trent Reznor is beating a cat with a theremin.

Heh, how uninspired was that album? I completely forgot about it. Good choice! TR had finally decided to hook up with a female vocal, and of course it was his new wife's pedestrian instrument.

Tsk tsk tsk Mr. Reznor. I chide because I love and had such high hopes.

Well, they just came up with a new style.

Is not that bad.

Word, the dnb heads can't adjust to the musical growth of Pendulum. I have always been into Pendulum since they originated as a dnb act back in 2003. I was spinning their tracks then and I still do now. IMHO, they have added more taste to their music and have diversified their reach. The sick bassline is gone, but other things have improved including musical composition. Rob Swire's vocals are excellent. I think that Immersion is one of my favorite Pendulum albums. As you've notice, I really do not care about old fashioned dnb.

Blind Guardian's latest album, At the Edge of Time, is amazing.  Very good recording, songwriting, arrangement, mastering, etc.  I love the band, and I think this is one of their best albums.  BUT, I got the 2LP pic disc version and it has an unbelievable amount of surface rumble - worse than any record I've ever heard in my life.  I'm going to send it back.  Booo!
