i've owned the hfi680 for about two years and it was my portable can. used it everyday with an ipod and a voyager amp. It's one of the most underrated headphones here, i think. I upgraded to esw10jpns, which are better but also three times as expensive. the hfi680s are great cans and i certainly recommend them (although i have nothing against the m50s).

149 new doesn't sound bad. you won't regret the purchase. they go well with all genres and are built sturdily.mo

hfi 680 is a very good headphone i think its better than the more pricier hfi780.. at 149 i think its a very good bargain..
