I don't think the IE8 is good for vocals because of their laid back mids. From the IEMs I've heard, I'd suggest Klipsch Image X10 it has plenty of bass mids are ok and highs are very detailed. But again, I haven't heard too much IEMs so there might be an IEM that suits you better maybe the Shure SE535?

1) The Coppers can produce a lot more details than the IE8s, therefore, much better for any vocals.
2) How much bass you want from the Coppers depends on which tips you are using, in general, with the gel and foam tips, the Coppers can produce much tighter and punchier bass with more extension than the IE8s.
3) To me, neither the Coppers or the IE8s have very good sound isolation. In terms of comfort, the IE8s are better.
4) The Coppers beat the IE8s or any similar priced IEMs hands down in details. They are particularly amazing with percussion instruments in general.
5) I don't think the Coppers have more treble than the IE8s, but somehow it just sounds more refined and detailed.

The IE8s have a much wider soundstage than the Coppers, but for some reason, the Coppers' is more pleasant sounding to me. I think the IE8s are not very aggressive sounding, so they are good if you like to listen to music for relaxing.

I have both, but if I have to chose one, it'll definitely be the Coppers. wink.gif

x2. I've owned both at the same time and kept the IE8.
