combo meier audio-Gd?

Thread Starter

Hello everyone,

I'm in the market for a dac and a Head amp, and for the moment my choice could be

the audio gd DAC19 and meier swing . I'm still hesitating between the DF and the DSP models  Had someone the chance to compare them? Do you think the swing is a  good match with that DAC?

I would use the combo with my ATH M50 for mixing  and with AKG 340 for more personnel use , if i ever find an amp that fits it, cause until now the AkG never sounded, right ( way to thin)

My listening taste is rather on the warm side

thanks for the advices

Laurent

Perhaps you should change the title of your thread as it's some what confusing as it is.

If you are going to buy an DAC19 or 3SE from audioGD and an amp, an alternative would be the Meier Concerto and Stagedac combo which can be had for 1050 € inside the EU, and the Concerto is supposed to be very good with the K340

If you buy the products from AudioGD, and I understand you want to do that as I'm eying the NFB-3 myself, you might have to add customs, VAT shipping etc. so that shoud be taken into consideration. Here in Denmark it's almost impossible to avoid these taxes so that will bring the price of a DAC19 up to 900$ before it's in the country.
