So I am just seeing if anyone would be interested in these. They have a re-cable that was done with silver plated copper wire 24 AWG, 1/4" techflex, 1/4" heat shrink tubing, and a Neutrik 3.5mm plug. I still have the box, original cord/pcb board, and everything else that came with it. They are dual entry. I put a little piece of Industrial strength black tape on the very end of the 3.5mm plug to help support it from breaking off. I also put a little piece where the two cords meet from the dual entry. This helps ensure that these cords don't come loose. It doesn't look bad at all or I wouldn't have done it. I also did the soundstage mod which removes the inner grill. I made it a perfect oval, so it will sound excellent. I just bought these brand new a few weeks ago, and they need burned in. But, they do sound great right now, the clarity and bass will improve over time. I love the HD-555 for gaming, music, and movies. I just bought the AT-AD700's so I would like to mod them and keep them. I would only like to have one headphone at a time since money is tight so I figured I would try and sell these.
