I'm a long time reader and a first time poster. I just bought a pair of Ultrasone Pro 650 and a uDac-2. I paired these with a MacBook and the bass is really lacking considering the rave reviews I've read. I was wondering if any head-fi members could recommend a headphone amp that is powered externally(non-USB), as I would like the most bass as possible without sacraficing mids. I do not intend on carrying the amp around, so size does not matter. I prefer to spend under 150 if possible, 200 is a stretch but possible.
