GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!

 

For Sale:  Grado HP-1s LNIB (almost NIB) with a black Melos SHA-1 headphone amp for US $1500.

                 Sold as Set, No Trades

 

Grado HP-1s were used LESS than 30 hours total since new, the ear-padshave been replaced as they died of old age (deteriorated in box while on shelf), and they have the Grado Signature Ultra-Wide Bandwidth Reference Cable.

 

The Melos served duty as the pre-amp for an audiophile system and is in good, but used condition with the original box.  The Melos has minor faceplate wear and some light scratches on the top cover as I used to put my tuner on top of it.

 

You will not find a cleaner or nicer system in this condition.  I’ve decided with a family that a good Home Theatersystem would be more practical.

YES, they are still available and thank you for the interest.

 

Please be patient as Head-Fi limits me to 2 PMs in 24 hours and I've reached the quota.

Again, NO, I will not seperate the pair as IT IS A SET.

 

I forgot to state that the user pays for Shipping, Handling, Insurance, and Brokerage/Custome/Duty fees (as/if applicable).

Apologies if this seems cheap, but I've had much interest from around the world.

 

I'm located in CANADA near Montreal, Quebec so you can look up rough S&H costs online.

UPS, FedEX, DHL, or even Canada Post can probably get you a good estimate.

 

Box for Melos is roughly 46cm x 20 cm x 56 cm and weighs 7.5 kg  (or 18 x 8 x 22 inches and 16 lbs).

Boxed Grados would be maybe 1/2 that size ( 20 x 10 x 28 cm) and ~2kg (5 lbs).

Guys be extra careful, there has been many scams at head-fi.com lately. One of them was from a low post count user that made around $1000 scamming people.

Now post a picture of the headphones on top of the melos with a paper stating your head-fi handle.

 

Prove to people you  actually own these things. It will help your sale!
