iMod 5.5 with Cable... Works Fine, but a couple small flaws. $170 obo.

iMod 5.5.  80 Gbyte.  Purchased used by me here on Head-Fi.  Not a RWA mod, but seller told me the mod was done by a fellow in Canada who does very good work.  I compared it with a stock iPod + modded Wadia Doc + pretty good DAC, and I didn’t find the combo to be much better.

Silver cable included, built by the fellow who did the mods.  Two small issues: The button at the center of the wheel doesn’t have much ‘click’ to it.  It still works, but you have to push it a little harder, and there isn’t that normal ‘click’ kind of response to it, but instead there's a slight click.  Second thing, the cable doesn’t always make good contact with the iMod jack, and so sometimes you might have to nudge it a little bit to get good contact.

Battery condition seems to be pretty good.

I’m asking $170 shipping included, sold ‘as is’.  Of course, if I have significantly misrepresented the condition of the unit and cable, you can send it back and I’ll refund your $.

I also have a black Speck case for the iMod, which I’ll include for a few extra $.

You should please change both the title and post content to refer to a DIYmod or some other non-proprietary name. References to original brand names for knock-offs violates forum rules.
